The Florida Public Pool Specialist course was developed by the Florida Swimming Pool Association and approved by the state of Florida Department of Health as an approved 16-hour Florida public pool service technician certification course.   Certification is good for 5 years.

Florida licensed contractors can earn 16 hours of credit from the FPPS course: --14 hours General Education --1 hour Business Practice --1 hour Workplace Safety
To enroll in the FP2S course complete the enrollment form and submit payment before the first day of class. This fee will cover the cost of maintaining records, issuing of the Florida Public Pool Specialist certification and renewal notice.

The course fee covers manual, handouts and certificates. Members: $300 / Non-Members: $400 (pricing may vary based on location and food offerings).  Food, travel & lodging expenses are not included and may be incurred by the student. The Association will make all efforts to keep the cost for lodging affordable for all students. Payment is required prior to the first day of class, check or credit cards accepted. Please contact Brittany Cagle at the FSPA office for special group pricing (3 or more enrollments).
